Nutritional situation of patients with cystic fibrosis - Results of a multicentre evaluation

For prognosis, the nutritional status of patients with cystic fibrosis is of essential importance. The present multicentre evaluation has shown that normal weight significantly decreases with increasing age of the patients.

Male adolescents whose energy intake, nutrient relation and normal weight substantially deviate from the recommendations are in need of very intensive care. EU05/03
